Forward TCGplayer order emails to QRTCG

Set up Gmail forwarding for new paid orders, review uncertain matches, and open the order picker.

Before you start

Use a shop owner or admin account with write access. If the TCGplayer card is unavailable, check that TCGplayer is enabled in Settings → Features.

Set up forwarding in Gmail

  1. In QRTCG, open Settings and find Channels · TCGplayer → TCGplayer email forwarding. Choose Generate forwarding address.
  2. Choose Copy forwarding address and save it somewhere you can return to. The full address is shown only when it is generated.
  3. In Gmail, open Settings → See all settings → Forwarding and POP/IMAP. Choose Add a forwarding address, paste the address from QRTCG, and follow Gmail’s confirmation prompts.
  4. Return to the QRTCG settings card. When Gmail’s verification email arrives, the card shows a Gmail confirmation code and an Open Gmail confirmation link. Enter that code in Gmail, or use the confirmation link. Confirmation details expire after 24 hours.
  5. In Gmail, create a filter using this exact search: from:sales@tcgplayer.com subject:"have sold". You can also copy it with Copy Gmail filter in QRTCG. Choose Create filter, select Forward it to, and choose your verified QRTCG address.
  6. Leave “Also apply filter to matching conversations” unticked, then create the filter. Forward new matching order emails only.

Check incoming orders

The settings card shows Last email received. After a new paid-order email is processed, an order whose lines all match your in-stock items with enough quantity can be imported automatically. Imported stock is deducted once.

If any line is ambiguous, missing, or short on stock, nothing is deducted for that order. Open Channels → TCGplayer → Needs review, select the order, and review its matches before confirming the import.

To pick an imported order, open Channels → TCGplayer → Imported, not yet picked and choose Open picker. You can use Refresh orders if needed. Uploading a packing slip for the same imported order number does not deduct stock a second time.

If you need a new address

Choose Regenerate address, then Confirm regenerate. The old address stops working. Save the new address and update the Gmail forwarding setup and filter to use it.
